Eventide Sanctuary – Where Healing Finds a Home
After years in the British Army, Ian came to Australia searching for purpose - and found it in an unexpected place. What began with one rescued dog has grown into Eventide Sanctuary, a haven for more than a hundred animals in Carlton River, Tasmania. Through Cars for Good, easyauto123 helped Ian keep his mission alive with a donated vehicle, giving him the means to care for more animals and continue changing lives.
Hobart United FC - Building Belonging Through Football
Hobart United FC began with one team and one mission - to give young people a place to belong. Founded in 2002, the club has become a cornerstone of the Tasmanian community, uniting players from diverse backgrounds through football. With guidance from founding member Eddie, a $1000 Cars for Good donation will help launch a new girls’ team, giving the next generation the same chance to play, connect, and thrive.
Copping Community Care Centre
In Copping, Tasmania, a small team of volunteers is spreading warmth to local families in need. Through their annual Christmas Appeal, Copping Community Care Centre is using a $1,000 Cars for Good grant to share kindness and hope this festive season - providing food, gifts, and support to ensure every family in their community can experience a brighter, more joyful Christmas.

Conwaye - A True Community Champion
Conwaye spends his days lifting up the next generation - a rugby coach who is more than just a mentor. To his boys, he’s Matua: the one who finds them boots, puts food on the table, and makes sure no one is left behind. His aroha and dedication have already seen Tuakau College reach milestones never achieved before. But behind the scenes, Conwaye and his partner were stretching one car to do it all. That’s why he was handed the keys to a reliable new vehicle.
Taka - Feeding Hope in Northcote
Taka’s journey began in Northcote, serving hot meals out of the boot of his car. There was no funding, no organisation behind him - just kindness, care, and aroha for his community. At least three nights a week, he cooked and delivered food to anyone in need, making sure no one went without. Over time, his quiet generosity became a lifeline for many. When he was recognised through Cars for Good, Taka gained the support to keep feeding hope, and to continue nourishing his community.
Nurturing Families - A Lifeline for Parents in Need
Born from one girl’s act of kindness, Nurturing Families has grown into a lifeline for hundreds of parents and caregivers across Auckland. They provide clothing, food, and baby essentials to families in crisis, along with the care, guidance, and connection that help them rebuild. Through a $1,000 Cars for Good donation, their team can continue giving newborns a safe start and families a chance to breathe again.
