Each month, we spotlight three remarkable stories: individuals or groups in genuine need, or doing good in their community. One is chosen to receive a car, donated by easyauto123. The others receive a financial contribution toward their cause.
Peggy's Place
This Cars for Good story shares a quieter moment of support, involving the handover of a vehicle to assist a woman rebuilding her life after domestic and family violence. Delivered through Peggy’s Place, a Brisbane organisation providing safe accommodation and long-term support for women and children, the donation prioritised privacy, dignity and safety. It reflects the importance of support that is considered, respectful and not always public.
Nourish Street
This story follows Nourish Street, a Brisbane-based grassroots charity providing practical support to people experiencing homelessness. From hot meals to essential supplies, their work centres on meeting immediate needs while treating people with dignity and care. A $1,000 Cars for Good donation will help Nourish Street continue delivering essential services across Brisbane’s northern communities.
The Shaka Project
This Cars for Good story explores the work of The Shaka Project, a mental health charity focused on encouraging conversations before people reach crisis. Through a simple approach built on checking in, asking again and creating space for honesty, the organisation helps make discussions about mental health easier to start. A $1,000 Cars for Good donation will support the delivery of free workshops across schools, sporting clubs and workplaces in and around Brisbane.

When Joeleen and Taina learned their son Dallas would be born with a serious heart condition, they relocated from Leeton to Sydney for lifesaving care. The move brought financial strain and constant uncertainty, but their commitment to their family never wavered. With support from Cars for Good, a safe and reliable 2015 Fiat Freemont is helping ease the load of travel, appointments and daily life, giving the family greater stability as they continue their journey far from home.
Kids of Macarthur: Community Care for Children
Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation is helping families across Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly access vital children’s medical care close to home. With a $1,000 Cars for Good grant, the Foundation continues its mission to keep lifesaving equipment in the region - supporting local hospitals, easing pressure on parents, and ensuring kids receive the care they need without leaving their community.
Spur Ranch: Connection Through Equine Therapy
In Picton, a small team of volunteers is helping veterans reconnect, rebuild and find calm through equine therapy. With a $1,000 Cars for Good grant, Spur Ranch continues providing meaningful support, hands-on horsemanship sessions and a peaceful space where veterans can regain confidence, connection and hope.
